Crieve Hall

A community of large lots, mature trees and renovated ranch-style homes.

Crieve Hall is a scenic community that’s rich in history. This neighborhood is located about nine miles south of downtown Nashville and just two miles north of Brentwood. Considering the great location, homes in this area are very affordable. The name, Crieve Hall, comes from the grand mansion once owned by a steel tycoon in the 1930’s. After he passed away, the home sat on the market for years because no one could afford such a place. Finally in the 1950’s, the family auctioned off the belongings and sold the house and land to developers. After demolishing the house and separating out the land, Crieve Hall as it is now known was formed. The Crieve Hall Elementary School is located on a hill across from where the old mansion was located.

While Crieve Hall is mostly a residential area, driving to Brentwood only takes about 5-10 minutes. From there you have plenty of options for shopping, dining, and entertainment. For an even wider variety of options you can drive to Green Hills, which is about 20 minutes away.
